Made in (occupied, post war) Japan, this highly designed ashtray is hand-painted In the middle is a little seascape under glass of crabs, a shell and some seaweed. 14.5 cm width 255 grams weight Stamped on the back and in pencil is a date 19/6/54 - not sure what it means so I've left it there. Part of my ashtray collection that I am sadly letting go....see my other listings for more quirky and beautiful ashtrays.
